WELCOME TO ST PAUL UMC

Hi there.  You have arrived at the new temporary online home of St Paul United Methodist Church in Brighton Illinois.

St Paul UMC
401 N Main Street
Brighton IL, 62012
We meet at 10am for our Sunday morning service, but church is not just limited to one morning a week.  Our Sunday School classes meet at 9am, and during the week you can plug into bible studies, youth and children's programs, Alpha, Marriage Alpha, and a wide range of other opportunities for fellowship.  We share communion together on the first and third Sundays of each month.  Families are encouraged to come to the table together.

Rev Amy Rayson
Lead Pastor
At St Paul, we are led by not 1, but 2 pastor's.  Reverend Amy and Reverend Mike Rayson - yes, they are married to each other - are not native to Illinois, but rather hail from the deep deep deep south.  No - not Mississippi, the other deep south... all the way down under south - South Australia!  Pastor Amy fills the pulpit most Sundays in the church year, whilst Pastor Mike has the opportunity to travel all over the world preaching in churches and at international ministry conferences.  Pastor Mike is also a noted musician - you can experience his song 'Just Grace' by clicking the link below.

If you would like information about baptism, church membership, weddings, funerals - or you just want to have a 'chat' with a friendly voice, don't hesitate to give Amy a call on 931 561 3273, or Mike on 931 249 2369.  Amy and Mike are also contactable via email - pastoramy@stpaulumcbrighton.com and pastormike@stpaulumcbrighton.com.

Rev Mike Rayson
Associate Pastor
Our church office times are as follows.  Tues, Weds & Fri, 9am-1pm.   Karen Klaffer is our secretary.  The office is located at 401 N. Main in Brighton.  618 372 3255.  You can also email Karen @ info@stpaulumcbrighton.com

St Paul UMC is active on facebook - you can find our facebook page by clicking the facebook logo below.  We are also an active congregation in mission and service.  The Brighton Food Pantry - and ecumenical effort by local Brighton Churches - is hosted by the church, and many of our members sponsor children through the ministry of Compassion International.

We look forward to sharing the journey with you at St Paul.
